Aquarius is an easy 15-minute drive from Cairns Airport. On your arrival at either the domestic or international terminals, we recommend you travel by Black and White taxi to Aquarius. The taxi ranks are across the road from the terminal entrance. On the way to the city you'll get your first experience of the exotic tropics - the airport access road passes through fascinating mangrove wetlands (stop and take the boardwalk if you want to stretch your legs!) while rainforest-clad mountains rise in the distance.
